Uriage is another French pharmacy brand that I love! As other companies, it was built around thermal water, from the city of Uriage, close to Grenoble. For about 200 years, the local water properties are known to relieve common skin problems and until this day, the region is the fourth best thermal source in the country.
My first products were Roséliane (which I wrote about here) and Hyséac, a moisturiser for oily skin. Last year, I discovered Roséliane Soint de Teint, a foundation that masks redness and evens out the complexion. Needless to say, it was also love at first application.
Other hits are the sensitive skin and sun care ranges. Products like Bariéderm Cica-Créme and CU-ZN Spray Apaisant Anti-Irritations are great for irritated, very dry skin whilst Bariésun FPS 50 is a light spray that also comes as dry oil. If you have a baby at home, it’s worth trying the line that includes the 1er Lait Hydratant and the Huile de Massage.
In the UK, you can find Uriage at selected beauty e-commerces and at Amazon (what can’t you find there???). Take a look and try!
