The Château Saint-Martin & Spa was this close to be my honeymoon destination, but because it was our first time at the Riviera, we decided for a more central location in Nice but the hotel is still on my wish list…
It is located on the hills of medieval Vence, in an ancient building that belonged to Knights Templar, who, according to a tale buried a treasure under the Château park (oh, mystery!). Since the 1970’s it is part of the Relais & Château association thanks to the impeccable service that includes 3 restaurants, rooms and suites facing the beautiful gardens or the Mediterranean sea.
Now, let’s talk about the spa. The 400m2 space offers treatments with Sisley and Bamford products, based on plant extracts and essential oils to relax body and mind. Reflexology, skin detox and jet lag massage are among them. The spa is also known for postpartum wellness care, so mummies and babies can come along and experience a special programme tailored to relax and nurture the connection between them. Cute!
